Montebelluna & Torino Exhibits in Italy 2018
Perez continued his Amen de Mariposas series in Italy, this time outside of Rome in the cities of Torino and Montebelluna.
The Mayor of Montebelluna came out to the opening to show appreciation for the art, as well as multiple consulates for the Dominican Republic. A small bio presentation was given by Perez at both Montebelluna and Torino. As was done in the prior years women who have survived violence gave a small conversation discussing the work to be done against it and the attention it deserves. In Torino the same kind of show was delivered and the Dominican consulate came to the opening. Both shows remained up for a month.
